Who Is Pasquaniel?
Most people don’t ask where a name comes from — unless it catches them off guard. And mine usually does.
Pasquaniel isn’t a name you hear every day. In fact, it’s not one you’ll find in a baby book or a trending handle. But that’s exactly why I’ve chosen to keep it, carry it, and build something meaningful under it.
The name was originally inspired by a character from the 1978 Western miniseries Centennial. My dad heard the name "Pasquinel" and gave it a twist — spelling it with a Spanish flair. And from the start, my entire family called me Pasquaniel. It wasn’t until middle school that I realized my legal first name was actually Jason. But by then, the name Pasquaniel had already shaped my identity.
What started as a unique name passed down from a TV show became something more — something I grew into.
The Deeper Meaning
Over time, I learned that the root of my name — Pasqu- — connects to names like Pasquale, Pascal, and Pascual, all of which trace back to the Latin word Pascha, meaning Passover. In Hebrew, that word is Pesach.
It’s the language of redemption. Of being brought out. Of crossing over.
And that’s what my life has come to be about — not chasing hype or worldly approval, but moving from stuck to started, by faith. My name carries that journey now — the shift from pressure to peace, from striving to surrender, from survival to purpose.
Some Names Are Given. Others Are Grown Into.
Pasquaniel — a name born from a Western, shaped by a journey, and rooted in redemption.
I help people move from stuck to started — by faith, not hype. I create for those stepping into purpose — one moment at a time.
The name might not be familiar. But my prayer is that the work tied to it is unforgettable.
Because when you move by faith… and build with truth… you don’t just create something that works.
You create something that lasts.
